Charles Fafard
M, b. 10 June 1687, d. before 27 February 1756
Charles was born in Batiscan, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada. He was christened there on 11 June 1687 in St-Francois-Xavier Church.1 He was the son of Francois Fafard and Madeleine-Marguerite Jobin. Charles married Marie Francoise Lemaitre, daughter of Pierre Lemaitre and Marie-Anne Chesnay dit Lagarene, on 29 March 1717 in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada, at the church of Notre-Dame-du-Cap.2 Charles & Francoise had children: Charles [1/30/1718-9/28/1738], Marie-Anne [8/06/1719], Marie-Francoise [m. 1739 Charles Dandonneau], Anonyme [1/26/1722-1/26/1722], Pierre [1723][m. Charlotte Dutaut & 2nd 5/24/1757 Marguerite Trullier], Antoine [1/16/1725][m. 1/25/1751 Madeleine Dutaut & 2nd 6/14/1773 Therese-Elisabeth Desorcy], Joseph-Ambrose [11/25/1727], Francois [8/24/1730-8/25/1730], Marie-Louise [2/14/1732-2/16/1732], Charlotte [7/04/1739-7/20/1739] & Elisabeth [m. 6/20/1763 Jean-Baptiste Salvaye].3 Charles departed this life in Ile-DuPas, Quebec, Canada. He was buried there in the churchyard of La Visitation on Friday, 27 February 1756.4
