Thankful Crowell

     Thankful was born on Sunday, 24 June 1696 in Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Crowell and Deborah (?) Thankful married John Lewis on 31 July 1718 in Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.2 John and Thankful had children: Lydia [3/23/1719-10/__/1724]. Temperance [2/07/1721-1768], Experience [10/__/1724-10/__/1724], Deborah [2/19/1728-1795] [m. 4/07/1743 John Arey]. Thankful departed this life on Wednesday, 24 January 1770 in Tisbury, Duke's County, Massachusetts, at age 73 years and 7 months.3 She was buried there in the West Tisbury Village Cemetery.4
