Seth Crowell

M, b. 8 September 1690, d. 10 May 1769
     Seth was born on Friday, 8 September 1690 in Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Thomas Crowell and Deborah (?) Seth married Mercy Nickerson, daughter of Lieut. Thomas Nickerson and Mary Bangs, on 23 March 1714 in Chatham.2 Seth and Mercy had children: Elizabeth [2/05/1714/15-4/19/1718], Elizabeth [m. 7/01/1735 Daniel Bassett & 2nd Hezekiah Marchant], Thankful [ 7/31/1724-11/12/1807] [m. 1745 Jonathan Hallet], Seth [8/07/1726] [ m. 1/07/1746/47 Mary Sears] & Lot [4/09/1730-3/20/1809] [m. 12/01/1747 Mary Hamblin & 2nd 11/09/1788 Hannah Berry].2 Seth's wife, Mercy, died on 10 May 1760 in Yarmouth leaving him a widower.2 Seth departed this life on Wednesday, 10 May 1769 in Yarmouth at age 78 years, 8 months and 2 days.2 He was buried there in The Ancient Cemetery.
