James Willett

James was born on Wednesday, 24 November 1649 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Honorable Thomas Willett and Mary Browne. James married Elizabeth Hunt on 17 April 1673 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. James's wife, Elizabeth, died in July 1676 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, leaving him a widower.2 James married 2nd Grace Flint in June 1677 in Stonington, New London County, Connecticut. The ceremony was performed by Thomas Stanton, Commissioner of Stonington. James was admitted as an inhabitant of New London in 1681.
