John Thorne II

John was born in the Town of Flushing, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He was the son of John Thorne and Mary Parcell. John married Katherine (?) in the Town of Flushing. John & Katherine had children: John, Elizabeth, Deborah, John Joseph, Samuel, Benjamin, Thomas, Rebecca Simons, Kathron King, Hannah, Sarah & Mary. 1698, John and his wife, [ROF:Flushing Town] were listed on the Flushing Town Census. Enumerated in this household were John Thorne Jun'r, Katherin, his wife, John, Elizabeth; Deborah. John made his will on 16 February 1735/36 at Chesterfield, Burlington County, New Jersey.
Sons: John Joseph, Samuel, Benjamin & Thomas, all under age – Daughters: Rebecca Simons, Kathron King, Hannah, Sarah, Mary and Debra – Real and personal estate – Wife Kathron, executrix – Witnesses: William Murfin, John Tantum, Samuel Merrit.1
The inventory of John's estate was taken on Thursday, 6 June 1737 by John Tantum and William Wills. They appraised the estate to be valued at £200 19s.The inventory included a silver plate valued at £15, two bilbes and other books.
His will was probated on 14 June 1737.
