Johann Wilhelm Meinzer

     Johann Wilhelm was born in April 1843 in Baden-Baden, Germany. He was the son of Charles Fredrich Meinzer and Katrina Hauger. Johann married Katherine "Kate" E. Smith, daughter of Mark Smith and Katherine Snyder, on 11 January 1872 in Seneca County, Ohio.¹ Katherine & William had one child: William [May 1873]. William married ca. 1903 Matilda [ca. 1872] in Fremont, Ohio and had children: Carlton [ca. 1904], Anton [ca. 1906], Catherine [ca. 1908], & John ca. 1910. He worked as a salesman for Grand Union Trunk. Wilhelm departed this life in 1873 at Seneca County.
