Hannah Ferris

     Hannah was born on Wednesday, 3 May 1679 in Throgs Neck, Westchester County, New York.¹ She was the daughter of John Ferris I and Mary Jackson. William & Hannah Mott had children: Elizabeth [1/01/1706-2/25/1722], William [8/06/1709-3/25/1786 m. Elizabeth Valentine], Hannah [12/22/1714-before 1751 m. 5/05/1731 Philip Pell], & Martha [11/18/1716-after 1756]. The family resided at Great Neck, Queens County, New York. Hannah married William Mott on 12 April 1705 in New York. Hannah's husband, William, died on 23 June 1740 in Great Neck in the Town of Hempstead leaving her a widow. Hannah departed this life on Sunday, 24 June 1759 in New York at age 80 years, 1 month and 21 days.
