Rev John Young

M, b. 21 October 1679, d. 3 March 1750
     John was born on Saturday, 21 October 1679 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. He was the son of Christopher Young I and Mary Budd. John and his brother, Christopher, received land from their mother, Mary [Budd], that was originally part of 4 allotments of land belonging to her father, John Budd. This land was part of the first Aquabogue Division in 1661. The brothers land were 2 lots on the western end of the division and opposite Tuthill's lane on King' Road. John married Ann Hallock on 7 January 1706/7 in the Town of Southold.1 John and Ann had children: Isaiah [1717-2/03/1729], David [1/03/1719/20-4/18/1752] [m. 2/21/1743 Bethia Parshall, daughter of David] & a daughter [-3/09/1725]. John's wife, an unknown person , died on 12 March 1724/25 in the Town of Southold leaving him a widower.1 John married 2nd Sarah (?) on 6 November 1735 in the Town of Southold.1 John's wife, Sarah, died on 8 January 1743/44 in the Town of Southold leaving him a widower. John married 3rd Elizabeth (?) on 30 November 1745 in the Town of Southold.1 John departed this life on Tuesday, 3 March 1750 in the Town of Southold at age 70 years, 4 months and 10 days.1
