Mary Whitney1

F, b. 16 September 1742
     Mary was born on Sunday, 16 September 1742 in Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut.2 She was the daughter of Daniel Whitney and Thankful Burt. Mary married John Truesdale II, son of John Truesdale and Experience Maltby, circa 1762 in Westchester County, New York. John and Mary had children: Daniel [ -11/06/1808], Benjamin [ -1846] [m. Catherine Nover], Polly [m. 1801 Abraham Smith] & Sarah [1786-1855] [m. 1804 Jacob Reeder]. The family first lived in Warwick, Orange County, New York and later removed to Wyoming Region, Pennsylvania.
