Hope Willett

     Hope was born in the 7th month of 1652 in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He was the son of Richard Willett and Mary Washbourne. Hope married Mercy Langdon in New York. Hope & Mercy had children: Joseph [13d 10m 1677], Mary [9d 10m 1679],[m. Richard Rideway], Elizabeth [3d 12m 1681][m. Jarvis Pharo], Richard [14d 1m 1684], Hester [15d 2nd 1686], Timothy [25d 12m 1688], Hope [24d 8m 1689], Phebe [29d 11m 1691], John [ca. 1690], James [1694], Hannah [3d 8m 1696], Patience [3d 8m 1696] & Abigail [3d 8th 1696].¹ Hope departed this life before 10 March 1703 in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He died intestate.¹
