     Joseph was born on Tuesday, 10 June 1710 in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut. He was the son of Sgt. Nathaniel Sutliffe and Sarah Savage. Joseph departed this life on Monday, 22 June 1711 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut.
