Thomas Seaman

     Thomas was born circa 1656 in Town of Hempstead, Long Island, New Netherlands. He was the son of Captain John Seaman and Martha Moore. Thomas married Mary (?) circa 1674 in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He and Mary were blessed with eleven children, seven of whom are known. He & his family resided in Jerusalem, Hempstead Township, Queens Co., L.I., New York. 31 August 1698, Thomas and Mary and his wife, [ROF:Hempstead Town] were listed on the Hempstead Town Census. Enumerated in this household were Thomas Seaman, Mary, Thomas, Richard, Samuel, Isaac, Mary, John, Abigail, Nathaniel, Mary Wood. Thomas made his will on 14 November 1722 at Jerusalem, Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He mentions his sons & daughters. Thomas departed this life before 29 December 1724 in Jerusalem, Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. His will was probated on 29 December 1724.
