On 28 November 1626, he was apprenticed to Philip Charles for seven years. On 25 October 1637, he was admitted to the freedom. He was a draper in London.2 John married Abigail Claxson on 6 January 1647 in Bath, Somersetshire, England, at st. Matthew Church.3 He was elected Master Draper in 1674.2 John departed this life on Monday, 5 October 1676 in London, County Middlesex, England. John 2nd d. 5 oct 1676 m. 6 jan 1647 Abigail Claxston.
