Samuel Goodwin1,2,3

     Samuel was born circa 1655 in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of George & Ellen [Smith] Goodwin. Samuel married 2nd Sarah Fowler, daughter of Henry Fowler III and Rebecca Newell, circa 1682 in Eastchester, Westchester County, New York. He was 1st married to Sarah, daughter of Henry & Lydia [Frost] Gray. In 1682, he was of Eastchester when he sold his home lot in Fairfield, Connecticut, which he inherited from his father, to John Sturgis, Sr. [Eastchester land records]. Also in 1682, he conveyed to his brother-in-law, Henry Fowler, a piece of land noted in the deeds of Eastchester.4 Samuel departed this life before 1690 in Eastchester, Westchester County, New York.
