Louis Mayrand1
M, b. circa 1 November 1662, d. before 29 January 1731
Louis was born in St-Etienne, Ile de Re, Charente, Poitou-Charentes, France. He was christened there on 1 November 1662.2,3 He was the son of Pierre Mayrand and Jeanne Renaud. He immigrated to Quebec in about 1688. Louis married Marie Sauvageau, daughter of Claude Sauvageau and Jeanne Legendre, circa 1688 in Grondines, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Charles-de-Roches Church.1 Louis departed this life before 29 January 1731 in Deschambault. He was noted as deceased on his son, Joseph's marriage record. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Joseph.
