Eleazer Leverich

     Eleazer was born in Huntington, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. He was a son of Rev. William Leverich. Eleazer married Rebecca Wright, daughter of Nicholas Wright IV and Ann (?), in 1662 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York. This marriage ended in divorce on 6 March 1670 on the grounds of alleged impotency, after they had been married seven and one-half years. The divorce was granted by Governor Lovelace.
