Richard Kirby II1

     Richard was born circa 1633 in England. He was the son of Richard Kirby [Curby] and Jane (?) Richard married Patience Gifford, daughter of William Gifford, on 19 October 1665 in Sandwich, Cape Cod, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. He and Patience were blessed with 5 children. Richard's wife, an unknown person , died before 2 November 1678 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts, leaving him a widower. Richard married 2nd Abigail (?) on 2 November 1678 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Abigail was the widow of Zoeth Howland/Rowland who died in King Philip's War. He made his will 30 January 1707/8 at Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Richard departed this life at Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. The record stated he was in his 88th year at Dartmouth. His will was probated on 4 April 1720 at Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.
