Mary Johnson

Mary was born in Wrawby, Lincolnshire, England. On 31 March 1749, she was christened in Wrawby, Lincolnshire, England, at St. Mary the Virgin Church.1 She was the daughter of John Johnson and Susanna Ellis. Mary married John Colton II, son of John Colton I and Ann Stamp, on 5 August 1771 in Wrawby at St. Mary the Virgin Church. They were married in the presence of John Johnson & Job Bradford. John belonged to All Saints Church in Bigby at this time.2,3,4 Mary departed this life in Brigg. She was buried on 22 December 1818 at Wrawby in St. Mary the Virgin Churchyard.5
