Lemuel Hotchkiss

Lemuel was born on Sunday, 8 November 1744 in Farmington, Hartford County, Connecticut.1 He was the son of Ladwick Hotchkiss and Mary North. Lemuel married Penelope Mather on 26 March 1764 in New Haven County, Connecticut. Lemuel and Penelope had children: Lemuel [1/15/1839] [m. Abigail], Lydia [3/15/1769-2/02/1853] [m. 1791 Hasrvey Peck], Anna [6/22/1782-10/17/1863] [m. 1800 Lovira Hart] & Henry [8/09/1785-11/21/1870] [m. 1806 Sarah Cochran]. Lemuel departed this life on Thursday, 18 February 1802 in Durham, Greene County, New York, at age 57 years, 3 months and 10 days. He was buried there in Allen Teator Road Cemetery.2
