Katherine Seward

     Katherine was born. Katherine married Joseph Sutliffe, son of Sgt. Nathaniel Sutliffe and Sarah Savage, after 10 July 1780. Joseph's first wife died on this date. Katherine departed this life on Friday, 11 November 1791 in Wolcott, New Haven County, Connecticut. She was buried there in Edgewood Cemetery. The inscription on her tombstone reads: Un Memory of Mrs. Katherine Sutliff wife of Mr. Joseph Sutliff who died November 11 1791 in the 63 year of her age.¹
