Mary Greene

     Mary was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. She was christened there on 19 May 1633 in St. Thomas Church. She was the daughter of Dr. John Greene and Joanna Tattershall. Mary married James Sweete, son of John Sweete and Mary (?), in February 1654 in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island. James & Mary had children: Phillip [7/15/1655], James [5/28/1657], Mary [2/02/1660], Benoni [3/28/1663], Valentine [2/14/1665], Samuel [11/01/1667], Jeremiah [1/06/1669], Renewed [7/18/1671] & Sylvester [3/01/1674]. Mary departed this life on Wednesday, 6 November 1686 in Warwick.
