Martha was born on Thursday, 9 January 1698 in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York. She & Mary were twins. She was the daughter of Samuel Denton and Abigail Barlow. Martha was not mentioned among her siblings in her father's will. It is assumed she died before 14 February 1717.
