Anier Almina Corwin

     Anier Almina was born on Saturday, 16 January 1790 in Orange County, New York. She was the daughter of Daniel Corwin. Anier Almina married Nathaniel Mapes, son of Enos Mapes and Irena Vail, on 5 December 1827 in Orange County, New York. 6 September 1850, Anier and her husband, Nathaniel, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Mount Hope Town, Orange County, New York. Enumerated in this household were Nathaniel Mapes [66 New York], his wife: Armena [61 New York], Isaiah H. [21 New York], Hector Page [28 New York], & Thomas A. Mapes [23 New York].¹ Anier departed this life on Monday, 27 November 1876 in Grange County, New York. She was buried in Howells, Orange County, New York, in the Mapes Burying Ground.
