     Samuel was born in 1687 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. He was the son of Henry Case II and Tabitha Vail. Samuel married Zurviah Horton in the Town of Southold. Samuel & Zurviah had children: William [m. Anna Cleveland], Samuel [m. Esther Bull], Joshua [m. Deliverance Wells], Israel [m. 1st Eunice King, 2nd Widow Mary Hart], Moses [m. Mary Hutchinson], Elizabeth [m. Joshua Hobart], Bethiah [m. Joel Bowditch], Zurviah [m. Joseph Corwin], Mary [m. William Reeve], Rhoda [m. James Clark], Sarah [m. David Youngs], & Martha [m. Thomas Overton]. Samuel departed this life on Saturday, 10 May 1755 in the Town of Southold at age 68 years.
