     Daniel Whitney was born on Friday, 17 May 1793 in the City, County & State of New York. He was born in his home on Pearl Street. He was the son of Thomas Burrows and Anne Whitney. Daniel married Christian Taylor in Orange County, New York. About 1823, the family resided in Oakland County, Michigan. Daniel departed this life after May 1875 in Oakland County, Michigan. When the information of the Whitney book was taken. Information said he lived at Oakley [not sure of this location].
