     Elizabeth was born in 1653 in Oyster Bay Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of Peter Wright and Alice Wright. Elizabeth married James Townsend, son of John Townsend I and Elizabeth Montgomerie, in 1671 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York. James & Elizabeth had children: James [1672], Job, Thomas [d.y.], Daniel [1676-1724/5][m. Freelove Dickinson of L. I.], & Alice. It is assumed Elizabeth died before before 16 October 1677 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York, as her husband was remarried on this date.
