James Treat1

M, b. before 20 July 1634, d. 12 February 1708/9
     James was born in the Hamlet of Trendle, Pitminster Parish., Somersetshire, England. He was christened there on 20 July 1634 in St. Andrew & St. Mary Church. He was the son of Richard Treat and Alice Gaylord. James married Rebecca Latimer on 26 January 1665 in Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut.2 James & Rebecca had children: James [4/01/1666], Jemina [5/15/1668], Samuel [1669], Salmon [1673], Richard, Jerusha [1678], Joseph [1680], Mabel [1685] & Rebecca [1685]. James departed this life on Tuesday, 12 February 1708/9 in Wethersfield.3
