Mary Terry

F, b. 13 November 1701, d. 13 October 1755
     Mary was born on Sunday, 13 November 1701 in Cutchogue in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Terry and Mary Horton. Mary married Sgt. Jonathan Mapes, son of Thomas Mapes and Sarah Purrier, on 28 November 1733 in the Town of Southold.1 Jonathan and Mary had children: Benjamin [1743] [m. 5/01/1758 Elizabeth], Daniel [1737] & Thomas [1739-5/09/1803] [m. 4/__/1766 Elizabeth Reeve]. Mary's husband, Jonathan, died on 4 January 1747/48 in the Town of Southold leaving her a widow. Mary departed this life on Monday, 13 October 1755 in the Town of Southold at age 53 years and 11 months.
