John Titus1

     John was born the 28th day of the 4th month 1698 at Westbury, Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York.2 He was the son of John Titus and Sarah Willis. John married Sarah Pearsall, daughter of Thomas Pearsall and Mary Seaman, in 1721 in Queens County, Long Island, New York.3 The family resided at Bethpage, Queens Co., L.I., New York. John's wife, Sarah, died on 28 January 1753 in Bethpage in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York, leaving him a widower. John departed this life on Saturday, 28 May 1757 in Bethpage in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York.
