John Spencer

     John was born in Edworth, Bedfordshire, England. He was christened there on 20 April 1557 in St. George's Church. He was the son of Michael Spencer and Agnes Limer. John & his wife had children: Daniel [m. 12/28/1626 Sarah Audley] & Francis [ -1636][m. Margaret]. Daniel is mentioned in his Uncle Richard Spencer's will of 17 March 1645. He was bequeathed eight messuages of land in the parish of St. Margaret Lothbery in London & lands in Kent & Essex. He was noted as being a grocer in London. John died before 17 March 1645 in Edworth as he wa noted deceased in his brother's, Richard's, will.
