Mary Willis
F, b. before 29 February 1656, d. 15 September 1702
Mary was born in Devizes, Wiltshire, England. She was christened there on 29 February 1656 in Chippenham.1 She was the daughter of Henry Willis II and Mary Peace. Mary married George Masters the 27th day of the 9th month 1678 in Westbury, at the home of her father, Henry Willis. Her father was fined for having the marriage take place in his home.2 George & Mary had children: Mary [7/15/1679-1718][m. 7/01/1702 William Haig] & Philadelphia [5/14/1684- ][m. Jeremiah Williams]. Mary's husband, George, died on 9 November 1696 in New York City, New York County, New York, leaving her a widow. Mary died on the 15th day of the seventh month 1702. at New York City.3
