Margaret was born in Scotland. She was the daughter of Charles Stewart. Margaret married Pethric McCurdy, son of Daniel MacKirdy, the summer of 1667 in Ballintoy, County Anrtim, Ireland. He settled in the Cairne at Ballintoy, County Antrim soon after his marriage. He raised his family & spent the remainder of his life here.
