     Martha was born after 31 August 1698 in Jerusalem, Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of Samuel Seaman and Phoebe Hicks. Martha married James Seaman, son of Benjamin Seaman and Martha Titus, on 25 March 1732 in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York.
