Greenberry Ridgely

     Greenberry was born circa 1785 in Traptown, Frederick County, Maryland. He was the son of Jacob Ridgely and Ruth Thrasher. He was still living at the time when his father wrote his will on 24 May 1811, but was not listed among the siblings of his brother, Jacob, when Jascob's legacies were distributed on 2 June 1846.
