Alice Ridgely1

Alice was born circa 1713 in South River, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, at the family home "Abbington". She was the daughter of William Ridgely II and Jane Westall. Alice married Samuel Meek on 19 September 1734 in Anne Arundel County.2 Samuel and Alice had at least one daughter, Jane [1740] [m. 6/10/1785 William Waters]. Alice's husband, Samuel, died in 1742 in Anne Arundel County, leaving her a widow. Alice married 2nd William Woodward in December 1743. William and Alice had at least two children: Abraham [12/01/1744-killed in the Revolution] & William [1747-1807]. Alice's husband, William, died in 1790 in Anne Arundel County, leaving her a widow.
