Alice Ridgely1

F, b. circa 1742, d. 1792
     Alice was born circa 1742 in Frederick County, Maryland, at the family home "Ridgely's Chance". She was the daughter of Westall Ridgely and Sarah Isaac. Alice married Henry Truman Hill in 1769 in Maryland. Henry and Alice had a daughter Ruth [1/01/1785-10/28/1843][m. Henry Whitmire] and possible other children. On 29 September 1791, Henry and Alice sold to her brother, Richard, Alice's share of her parent's plantation "Ridgley's Rest" for 46 pounds, 2 shillings and 6 pence. Alice departed this life in 1792 in Newberry County, South Carolina.
