Ap Cadell, Hywel Dda - was born. He was the son of ap Rhodri Mawr, Cadell - King of Wales. Ap married Elen of Dyfed (?), daughter of ap Hyfaidd, Llywarch, of Dyfed (?), in Wales. He was referred to as "The Good". He acceded to the throne in 942. Ap departed this life in 950.
