Susannah Norman1

     Susannah was born circa 31 July 1617 in Charminster, Dorsetshire, England. On 31 July 1617, she was christened in Charminster, Dorsetshire, England, at St. Mary's Church.2 She was the daughter of Richard Norman and Florence (?) Susannah married Robert Lockwood, son of Edmund Lockwood and Ales Cowper, circa 1633 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Susannah's husband, an unknown person , died before 11 September 1658 in Fairfield, leaving her a widow. Susannah married 2nd Jeffrey Ferris in 1659 in Stamford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Jeffrey had a marriage contract with Susannah, dated May 28, 1661, in which he pledged certain legacies to the children of Robert Lockwood, deceased, and mortgages his Greenwich lands and "housings". Susannah departed this life on Thursday, 23 December 1660 in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut.3,4 She was buried at Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut, in Tomac Burying Ground.5
