John Norman

M, b. circa 7 February 1607, d. 1672
     John was born circa 7 February 1607 in Charminster, Dorsetshire, England. On 7 February 1607, he was christened in Charminster, Dorsetshire, England, at St. Mary's Church.1 He was the son of Richard Norman and Florence (?) John married Arabella (?) before 1637 in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts. He & his son, John, constructed the pews for the first meeting house in Marblehead in 1659. These pews were constructed in 17th century joinery i.e. with no nails.2 John departed this life in 1672 in Marblehead, Essex County, Massachusetts.2
