Jonah Palmer1

     Jonah was born circa 1618 in England. He was the son of Walter Palmer and Ann Elizabeth (?) Jonah married Elizabeth Grissill in 1657 in Charlestown, Washington County, Rhode Island. Jonah's wife, Elizabeth, died, leaving him a widower. Jonah married Abigail Carpenter, daughter of William Carpenter and Abigail (?), on 9 November 1692 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Jonah departed this life on Saturday, 22 June 1709 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.
