William Ludlam III

     William was born circa 1628 in Matlock, Derbyshire, England. He was the son of William Ludlam II and Clemence Fordham. In 1648, William left his home in England aboard the ship, "Triall", bound for New England. He traveled with his sister, Grace. They arrived at the Boston harbor.. William married Elizabeth Smith in New York. He was living at Huntington, New York 13 June 1667. William departed this life in 1668 in Huntington, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
