John Morris

     John was born. John was of New Jersey & a nephew of Governor Morris, of that State. John married Eliphal Wright, daughter of John Wright and Mary Townsend, circa 1715 in Queens County, Long Island, New York. John made his will on 18 January 1734 at Elizabeth Town, Essex County, New Jersey.

Executors--friends John Shotwell, Joseph Shotwell, and son Justus. Witnesses--Jeffry Jones, Mary Shotwell, Deboriah Lane.1 John departed this life in Elizabeth Town. His will was probated on 8 February 1734. The inventory of John's estate was taken on Friday, 12 February 1734. The estate was appraised at £1165.13.04.
