Thomas Beardsley

Thomas was born circa 1675 in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of Joseph Beardsley. Thomas married Sarah Deming on 18 December 1707 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut.1 Thomas and Sarah had children: Israel [12/03/1708], Sarah [3/24/1710], Mary [m. Peter Mallory], Thankful, Hannah [5/28/1715], Elizabeth [10/26/1716], Thomas [5/19/1720] & probably others.2 Thomas made his will on 29 March 1767.

I Thomas Beardslee of Stratford in the County of Fairfield, Colony of Connecticut, New England being grown aged and infirm of body. . . mentioning his wife Sarah, his children: Israel, Hannah Lane & Thankful and grandchildren: Jared Beardslee, Elisha Beardslee, Thomas Beardslee, Rachel Worster, Elias and Sarah Baldwin, Sarah Seeley, Elijah & Samuel Mallory.3 Thomas departed this life in Stratford. The inventory of Thomas's estate was taken on Tuesday, 2 November 1773 by Abraham Beardslee and Icobod Lewis. His will was probated on 9 November 1773.
