Martha was born on Wednesday, 28 March 1674 in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of John Barlow II and Abigail Lockwood. Martha was not mentioned among her siblings in her father's will. It is assumed she died before 29 January 1690/91.
