Francois Ayotte

     Francois was born on Thursday, 13 January 1803 in Maskinonge, Quebec, Canada. He was christened on the same day there in St-Joseph Church.1 He was the son of Alexis Ayotte and Marie Louise Lecoq dit Ladouceur. Francois married Angele Paquin on 8 February 1825 in St-Cuthbert, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Cuthbert Church.2 Francois & Angele had children: Francois [1/28/1826-3/19/1832] Alexis [3/27/1828][m. 10/10/1853 Anna Courteau], Pierre [2/27/1830-6/09/1831], Marie Theophile [2/22/1832], Delphine [3/__1832-7/14/1833], Clemence [9/22/1833][m. 8/02/1853 Severe Mathon], Angele [7/10/1835-4/30/1836], Sophie [3/16/1837], Philomene [4/__/1839-7/30/1839], Joseph [6/18/1840-2/28/1841], Francois [7/04/1842], Joseph Adelard [8/02/1844][m. 10/20/1862 Celina Lafond] & Joseph Adolphe [5/14/1847].3 Francois's wife, Angele, died between 10 October 1853 and 5 November 1860, leaving him a widower. Francois married 2nd Marguerite Durand on 5 November 1860 in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada.4
