The Will of Elizaberth Ray, 22 Jan. 1521. My body to be buried in the church of St. Nicholas of Denston. Bequest to the same church. To the church of Norwich. To a priest to sing for me I am bound to pay for half a year 4 marks. To Robert Ray, John Ray, Elizabeth Ray and Anne Ray, to each, sheep silver and household goods. Gifts of sheep to the children of my daughter Kateryn Sparow; to the children of Anne Westerp, my godchildren; to the children of daughter Agnes Smyth, my godchildren John and George, and to her other children. Residues of all goods unbequeathed to son John, whom I make my executor - - - No witnesses.1
Elizabeth departed this life in Denston, Wickhambrook.2 She was buried there in St. Nicholas Church.1 Her will was probated on 7 February 1521.
