     Osbert de was born in Northumbria, England. Osbert left Northumberia and immigrated to Stafford. He & his son, Osbert Jr. were, at one time, secular priests in the Silverton or Swnnerton Church in Straffordshire. This church gathered the most of the Northumberian immigrants to Stafford.
