     Charles was born in 1699 in Cote-St-Michel, ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada. Charles married Marie-Therese Haguenier on 10 June 1724 in Detroit, Pays-d'-en-Haut.1 Charles & Marie-Therese had children: Marie Charlotte [7/29/1725-11/13/1749][m. 5/29/1741 Gabriel Gervais], Marie-Therese [7/29/1725][ Marie-Therese [10/06/1726-10/07/1726], Charles [2/20/1728-1/29/1800][m. 1/08/1753 Marie-Amable Demers, 2nd 2/22/1762 Marie-Catherine Circe & 3rd 9/28/1772 Louise Dupuis],Marie Charlotte [1/01/1730-1/26/1730] & Louis [4/10/1735-5/12/1790][m. 9/291766 Marie Amaable Bourdeau].2,3 Charles's wife, Marie-Therese, died circa 19 May 1737 in Detroit, leaving him a widower. Charles departed this life on Saturday, 21 February 1750 in La Prairie, Quebec, Canada, at age 51 years. He was buried there in the churchyard de-la-Nativite-de-la-Blessed-Virgin-Mary on Sunday, 22 February 1750.4
