Joseph-Honore Merand

     Joseph-Honore was born on Sunday, 31 July 1825 in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade, Champlain County, Quebec, Canada. He was christened on the same day there in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade Church.1 He was the son of Ambroise Merand and Julie Rivard dit Lanouette. Joseph-Honore departed this life on Wednesday, 26 May 1830 in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade at age 4 years, 9 months and 26 days. He was buried there in the cemetery of Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade on Thursday, 27 May 1830.2
