Ebenezer Mather

M, b. 1729, d. 20 December 1794
     Ebenezer was born in 1729 in Aquabogue in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. He was the son of Nathaniel Mather and Ruth (?) Ebenezer married Margaret Downs, daughter of John Downs and Margaret Howell, on 16 April 1752 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. In the 1778 census, Ebenezer Marther is listed with a family of eight in Aquebogue District. Ebenezer departed this life on Saturday, 20 December 1794 in Minisink Town, Orange County, New York.
